Godzilla vs Kong is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard on May 11th as part of the Operation Monarch event, which takes place on the Caldera map. No other details were revealed, but Activision did release a teaser trailer showing what players could expect. The Warzone Pacific Season 3 update will be released on April 27th, which means you’ll have two weeks to wait until Godzilla vs. Kong shows up in game.
If you haven’t seen the movie, Godzilla vs. Kong basically takes place five years after Godzilla defeated King Ghidorah. He is then monitored by Monarch within a giant dome on Skull Island and visited by Jia, the last Iwi native as well as the adopted daughter of Kong expert Ilene Andrews. Nathan Lind, a former Monarch scientist and Hollow Earth theorist, convinces Ilene to let Kong guide them through the Hollow Earth via an outpost in Antarctica, and that is where the real action begins. Unfortunately, this event does not include a Godzilla-shaped electric guitar.
