Google Pixel 7 Pro Reveal Event
The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones were revealed today, both of which are powered by the company’s own Tensor G2 processor. Google’s Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1440p LTPO screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, a triple rear camera (50MP Wide + 48MP Telephoto + 12MP Ultra-Wide), a 10.8MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery boasting 30W fast charging.

What sets the Pixel 7 Pro’s camera apart from the Pixel 7 is its Macro Focus function, which provides Pixel HDR+ photo quality from as close as three centimeters away. This means you’ll be able to snap photos of flower petals, raindrops, feathers and other tiny details with ultra crisp sharpness as well as vivid color. Both models have Photo Unblur, a function that uses AI-powered machine learning to improve your blurry pictures, even ones you’ve already taken. Available for pre-order starting today, priced from $599 USD and $899 respectively. For underwater messaging on smartphones, you’ll still need a specially developed app.
