Graham Dot Zip AI Agent Job Interview Interviewer
Graham Dot Zip has built a following by testing how AI interview bots handle nonsense answers, song lyrics, or endless polite replies. In his newest video he tried the reverse and sent his own AI agent named Victor to represent him while the company sent an AI recruiter named Pat.

Pat opened by noticing someone else on the call. Graham explained that Victor knew his resume better and would handle the details. Victor then went into detail about Graham’s employment, stating that he was apparently a senior marketing manager with a pretty great resume, three years of experience, a handful of direct reports, and two contractors. Before he could finish, Graham jumped in to correct the record, pointing out that he was the marketing coordinator and that the majority of his job consisted of simply monitoring calendars and supervising no one.

Victor was at it again, touting Graham as an extraordinary marketing dynamo and crediting him with some significant brand relaunch that he hadn’t actually been involved in. Salary came up early in the debate, and Victor said Graham was some kind of saint who would be OK simply scraping by on $60,000 per year. Before he could finish his sentence, Graham interrupted him again, this time to inform him that his true range was far greater, 140k to 150k. Pat, on the other hand, is having none of it and refuses to budge, while the two agents on the call continue to talk over each other in a back and forth that goes nowhere quickly.

Graham then took a step back and allowed the two agents to fend for themselves, but not before they scheduled a follow-up interview and became locked in a cycle of thank yous, takecares, and goodbyes. Each politely worded sentence invited another from the other side, and the exchange continued until Graham returned to the room and effectively ended the call. He eventually chose to pull out of the entire procedure.

Viewers got to watch the same old pattern that we’ve seen in all of his other clips, where AI interviewers are stupid and simply accept complete nonsense as if it were some kind of perfectly coherent answer, or just drag out a simple good bye into this long drawn out loop. Victor simply defied Graham’s clearly defined boundaries on qualifications and remuneration. The entire episode went viral, receiving approximately 2 million views in just a few days.

Companies continue to test AI for early screening due to its ability to handle high volumes. The truth is, many job seekers still leave when they realize they are being asked questions by a machine. This time, however, both sides had agents present, and the agents resulted in a rather low offer, a second meeting that was never cleared, and a call that simply couldn’t seem to end.
