You’ve seen their bulletproof John Wick suit, now it’s time to see if the Hacksmith crew can build a water jetpack that lets you double jump in real-life. In other words, they need a device that would enable them to jump twice without hitting the ground.
It all started with a 2L medical compressed air tank, a snowball cannon spool valve, large pipe fittings rated for 3000 psi, and a 3-inch thick aluminum pipe. What really required some work was figuring out how to make the jetpack powerful enough to not only lift a human, but also the addition of the two heavy air tanks as well. Let’s just say that the 178-pound creation they came up with did work, sort of.
