Photographer Allan Dixon from Ireland has become known as a “master of animal selfies”, and rightfully so. However, these quirky photos aren’t always easy, as they take “anywhere between five minutes to three hours of being in the animals presence,” said Dixon. Above, we have one of his finest examples, with the always happy quokka, which can be found on some smaller islands off the coast of Western Australia. “It depends on the animal and how safe it feels.
