Priced at a very affordable $149.95, sophisticated, modern and stylish are the best words to describe the Harman Kardon AE. Only the highest-quality materials were used for exceptional acoustic performance, which reflects Harman Kardon’s “commitment to innovative industrial design and uncompromising sound quality”. Inside the box, you’ll find three pairs of silicone sleeves and a pair of one-size-fits-all comply tips that ensure a comfortable fit, as well as ample noise reduction. Plus, they’re supplied with an in-line microphone and three-button remote.

No matter what type of media we tested these headphones with, the sound quality was crisp and rich throughout the low / mid / high ranges, especially when watching movies on Netflix – thanks to its excellent frequency response of 16 Hz – 20,000 Hz. Yes, even when used with music / movies with heavy bass, we noticed absolutely no distortion. We also noticed that these headphones shine with instrument-heavy music – rich mid-register and a deep lower register, with bright highs. Overall, we’d rate these 5 / 5, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent pair of in-ear headphones suitable for all media.
