Hasselbad X1D

Handmade in Sweden, the Hasselblad X1D is the world’s first mirrorless digital medium format camera. It manages to cram a 50-megapixel, 1.7 x 1.3-inch CMOS sensor into a compact body that weighs less than half that of a normal medium format camera. Featuring a 3″ 920K-dot display, 2.4-megapixel electronic viewfinder, HD video recording, Wi-Fi connectivity, and integrated GPS. Photographers will also get to experience new AF lenses designed specifically to work with both the closer sensor and smaller body, while keeping flash sync up to 1/2000th of a second. “The X1D marks a pivotal point in Hasselblad’s rich 75-year history. This camera makes medium format photography available to a new generation of Hasselblad users, while pushing the existing limits of photography to new heights,” said Hasselblad CEO Perry Oosting.
