Hennessey Dodge Demon

Hennessey Performance, known for their insane performance packages, reveals their latest project, a Dodge Demon designed to take on hypercars. It’s powered by tuned 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 outputting 1,056 hp and 967 lb-ft of torque, and when paired with street-legal Nitto drag radials, it quickly accelerates to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds, while being able to complete the quarter-mile in just 9.38 seconds. “After an estimated 20 percent drivetrain loss, the vehicle’s output at the crankshaft is 1,056 hp (1,070 PS) and 967 lb-ft (1,311 Nm) of torque. That’s a considerable 216 hp (218 PS) more than the standard Demon. With that kind of power increase, we’d expect Hennessey’s Demon to be a lot faster in a straight line. The company recently put out a new video where it showed just how much quicker its new HPE1000 Demon is over a stock model,” reports Car Scoops.
