HP Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC Laptop
A collaboration between HP and Ferrari produced a machine that feels more like a rolling sculpture than typical hardware. Only 4,999 examples of the Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC will ever exist. Each carries its own serialized number and arrives in packaging that treats unboxing as part of the experience.

Rosso Magma paint wraps the aluminum body that’s been precision-milled by a CNC machine. As light reaches the surfaces, the zirconium bead-blasted finish gives off a captivating shifting depth due to the metallic particles suspended in the bright hue. This particular color is one of Ferrari’s most instantly identifiable tones, the type that exudes excitement rather than being a simple paint job. Flip the laptop over, and what you’d expect to see is reversed, with the regular panel replaced with a carbon fiber surround with a technical glass piece that acts as a view into the inner workings. Through it you can see the cooling hardware and the laser-engraved serial number etched onto a heat pipe, all of which provides you a view of what’s going on beneath the surface. That’s a bit of an odd approach, but one that mimics how Ferrari regularly utilizes translucent engine covers on their cars, as it’s all about displaying the mechanical architecture rather than hiding it away.

The glass part contains no fewer than 2,000 perfectly calibrated micro-perforations working in combination with CNC-machined three dimensional louvers to get the airflow exactly right. The fans work in tandem with this visible system to keep temperatures under check, even when you’re using the laptop hard. The same idea has been applied to the keyboard layout, as it’s all about functionality. There’s a haptic touchpad waiting to be utilized beneath the glass palm rest, but a light bar appears only when it’s engaged, not before, keeping the workplace tidy. With per-key RGB lighting, you can choose between four different animation styles and any color you want. In addition, crucial labels are designed in Ferrari’s own font.

Lift the lid and the 14-inch 3K OLED touch display awaits, resolution and brightness high enough to handle whatever you throw at it whether you’re using it for detailed work or watching movies. The majority of the workload is handled by a high-performance Intel Core Ultra X7 CPU 358H, which is accompanied by powerful Intel Arc B390 graphics. A very respectable 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB SSD provide plenty of space for multitasking and storing huge files. The platform’s AI capabilities allow it to perform 180 trillion operations per second, handling demanding computing tasks without the need for additional accelerators.

Every unit includes a Poltrona Frau leather sleeve, which is made by the same Italian company that supplies the leather used in Ferrari interiors. As a result, the carrying case’s quality is equivalent to that of the cars. An additional degree of security is added by HP Wolf Security for Business. In terms of connectivity, you have two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB-A connector, an HDMI port, an audio jack, and Wi-Fi 7. The limited edition laptop, which costs $5,599, goes live on the HP website in the US on June 12. Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom all have similar launch schedules.
