Huawei’s Maextro S800 not only looks the part, but adds crab walking to its list of features. In this newly released video, we see the $137,000 USD luxury electric sedan carefully navigating between Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Classes, thanks to the four-wheel steering function, which allows the S800’s rear wheels to mimic the angle of the front wheels.
The company states that the S800’s maximum turning angle of the rear wheels can reach 16 degrees, which is definitely better than the 10-degrees of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and 5-degrees of the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Maextro S800’s EREV tri-motor variant consists of a 215 hp electric motor in the front axle & dual 318 hp electric motors in the rear axle to generate a combined 852 hp. You could also add a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine range extender producing 154 hp.
