Hyperstealth Quantum Stealth Invisibility Cloak
Yes, we’re getting closer to real invisibility cloaks that will be used in everyday life, starting with Hyperstealth Biotechnology’s creation. Called “Quantum Stealth”, this technology is currently designed to only hide objects positioned a specific distance behind the shield, and even when the object is obscured, you can still see the outline of the material.

Can this current version be useful or have practical applications in the real world? Most certainly, but only for certain applications. In addition to bending visible light, Quantum Stealth also hides objects from infrared and thermal vision.⠀CNET recently got the chance to get some hands-on time with the first version and gives us a preview of future versions.
