Hyundai’s Dogability may have been just a concept, but it shows what an AI-designed vehicle for canines could look like. This autonomous pod would be able to transport dogs to and from the park, their friend’s house, and even around the city, all without human assistance.
If this concept was to one day become a reality, Hyundai has planned three models: Dogbility Pup, Dogbility Classic, and the custom Dogbility Senior line. Every one of these models comes in three sizes, from compact to sedan, and boast a modular framework that makes it easy to swap parts for larger breeds. There would be a rotary steering wheel designed to ensure reliable steering by paws, downward-facing pedals to prevent any strains to the patella, nose print recognition to start the engine, as well as a canine-compatible color alert HUD. The two coolest features would have to be the automatic dryer mode for rainy days, and the rubber ball horn.

Dogbility will take our devoted companions to the park, around the neighborhood for a stroll, and perhaps even to the moon and back, ensuring freedom of mobility that extends beyond humanity,” said Hyundai.
