We know the iPad Pro M4 is surprisingly durable, but what about the new 13-inch iPad Air M2? iFixit’s teardown video shows us that it may not be the perfect device for those wanting to perform their own repairs should something break.
As the chassis is removed, we can see that the internals of this iPad Air does not look too different from its predecessor, including the adhesive tab-equipped battery cells that are a hassle to remove. This means that the iPad Air M2 only received a repairability score of 3/10 due to the display and several other hardware components being difficult for the average user to remove.
