The IKEA Swedish House Mafia OBEGRANSAD record player was announced at the IKEA Festival in Milan today, and it’s just one of three products from the special collection. This collection aims to offer a solution for the home setup, regardless if you’re a producer, DJ, musician, or just want to listen to music.
Aside from the OBEGRÄNSAD record player, there’s also a desk and armchair. The record player celebrates the joys of litening to music with vinyl records with its sleek, minimalist style and it’s even compatible with the IKEA’s own ENEBY speaker. Available this fall, with pricing yet to be announced. Now we’re just waiting for IKEA to release a laser disc player, like this one from Magnavision.

Sound is everything in music, and we have added two speaker stands to the desk to bring the speakers to the ear level. We have also added a pull-out shelf below the desktop. This functionality allows you to have a midi keyboard, for example, in easy reach, while maximising space on your desktop”, said Friso Wiersma, IKEA designer.
