It may not be as useful as Project Usoyaro, but this infinite LEGO domino ring machine is most certainly oddly satisfying to watch. Jason Allemann, also known as JK Brickworks on YouTube, used a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 compute unit to control the 64 LEGO dominoes on hinges that ensure they stay in place after falling and standing.
Typical LEGO domino machines have the dominoes falling in a straight line, while this perpetual ring machine uses a small train running on the inner section to re-stack them. This enables one side to fall and the other being raised back up using levers, with the speed of the train controlled with the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 as well as a sensor. The latter detects how fast the dominoes are falling. Unfortunately, LEGO discontinued their Mindstorms brand in 2022, so building your own infinite domino ring may take some scavenging on third party reseller sites.
