Intuitive Machines IM-1 Mission Nova-C Lunar Lander Photos Earth
Intuitive Machines just released the first images captured by the IM-1 mission Nova-C lunar lander. These were taken shortly after separation from SpaceX’s Falcon 9 second stage on Intuitive Machines’ first journey to the moon under NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) initiative.

The lunar lander is equipped with instruments designed to collect data that will help NASA’s Artemis program that hopes to eventually establish a crewed base near the lunar south pole within this decade. It’s also transporting various NASA experiments and technology demonstrations, along with six private payloads.
