Like most product launches, there will always be an issue or two that arises with the device(s) on launch day. In the case of Apple’s iPhone 4, users have been reporting signal loss due to the antenna band being located externally on the bottom left corner. Also, many have noticed yellow and/or brown splotches on the display, which Apple claims “is ‘residue from manufacturing’ that should clear on its own within a few days.” Video after the break. Here’s the solution Apple recommended for the former:

Their answer? “Get a bumper” and “it’s not their problem”. I told the CSR that if their solution is to buy a bumper, why aren’t they giving them out for free? Again, she said not her problem.
