At first glance, it appears as if a group of people are trapped at the bottom of this pool, but it’s just a clever illusion by Leandro Erlich at the 21st Century Museum of Art of Kanzawa, Japan. The installation is called “Swimming Pool” and basically utilizes a thin piece of glass with water running over top of it to create the illusion of being underwater.
