Always wanted to live in a home that experiences tropical weather all year round, without having to move to an island? If so, then Belgium’s first autonomous bio-ecological greenhouse home will allow you to do just that. Built by architect Koen Vandewalle, this home is completely off-the-grid and water comes from rain that falls on the greenhouse. Most importantly, everything in this structure has been constructed with both ecological and recyclable materials. Vandewalle is currently living and working inside this unique greenhouse home, and believes that this project offers many possibilities both for private individuals as well as for municipalities and businesses.
