According to 9to5Mac, these are purported images of Apple’s upcoming iPad 5, which is set for release this summer. They come from an accessories manufacturer in China and shows that the device adopts several styling cues from the iPad Mini. Continue reading for more pictures and information.
Unlike other prototypes or leaked parts, the “iPad” name has been scrubbed off the device. The Verge reports that “in any case, the pictured part does appears to be in line with current expectations, and if the final 5th-generation iPad proves to look like what’s pictured above, we’d have to conclude that Apple’s not having any further success in its efforts to double down on product secrecy.”
