There’s this World of Tanks simulator, and then Brick Technology’s custom-built LEGO tank that can be controlled remotely with a PlayStation 4 controller. Before thinking about building your own, just know that none of these components (tank treads, etc.) are from existing sets, but rather individual LEGO, as well as LEGO Technic, parts.
The completed build features an automatic track suspension, a 3-speed manual gearbox, a turret capable of spinning / tilting / lifting the cannon, and even a functional rapid-fire cannon. Our favorite parts of the build include the gearbox and shifter, as the engineering required to build something like this most certainly required lots of planning.
