LG Display showcased its flexible OLED technology ahead of CES 2022, and one of their latest projects is the “Media Chair.” This basically combines a curved 55-inch OLED TV display with a comfortable recliner. The former features a curvature radius of 1,500R, which is the optimal angle for the user, and it comes equipped with the company’s built-in sound technology Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO).
Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO) allows for the display to vibrate to make its own sound without the use of external speakers, offering an extra immersive experience. It also has a pivot function that enables the screen to rotate between vertical and horizontal orientations at the push of a button on the armrest. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
