LG’s transparent OLED table, which consists of twelve 55″ transparent OLED panels, arrives at the Starbucks Yeosu Dolsan DT Branch in South Korea. The 26-foot (8-meter) installation can be found at the center of the store where guests can enjoy their beverage or work.
Embedded sensors can detect when an object has been placed atop one of these displays, triggering interactive waves that seemingly ripple around it. Those who visit just to marvel at the table can watch the eight-minute video called “The Sea of Yeosu”.
