The Lilium Jet

Lilium Aviation has revealed The Lilium Jet, “the world’s first all-electric VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) jet”. This flying car of sorts is powered by 36 electric jet engines. The final production model will be self-piloted with artificial intelligence, and customers will be able to book a flight using their smartphone, just like you would a ride-sharing service. “It’s the same battery that you can find in any Tesla. The battery consumes 90 percent less than current drone aircraft. The craft has a flight speed of 186 mph with a range of 186 miles per charge,” said company co-founder Patrick Nathen.
