Here’s a first look at Luvly O, a small electric vehicle from a Swedish startup that ships flat-packed, similar to IKEA furniture. Despite its size, each vehicle is built like an F1 car, with energy absorbers and a sandwich composite safety shell protecting the passengers.
When compared to traditional EVs, a Luvly O saves up to 80% energy during production as well as in operation of the vehicle. Weighing in at less than 882-pounds, its 6 kWh battery is good for around 62-miles of driving on a full charge. The battery is split into two modular pieces to make charging at home easier, or around 1-hour from a standard European outlet. It measures 106.3-inches (l) x 56.7-inches (w) x 60.2-inches (h), but there’s no word yet on pricing or availability.
