If Halo 3 was released on the NES, this is how its box art might have looked. This strange looking example was actually produced by the original Mega Man NES box artist.
The original Mega Man must represent the widest disparity in game greatness and box art awfulness. It could only be eclipsed by, say, another groundbreaking title done in exactly the same hideous style.
