The G63 AMG 6×6 featured a compressor which allowed to reduce or increase tire pressure in order to adapt the traction to the driving surface, especially in desert like environments. Therefore, the compressor filled four containers with 20-liters each to allow fast inflation of the tires. This made it possible to change from sandy deserts to regular streets in less than twenty seconds.
