Meta’s new AI characters get their own social media profiles, with some of them played by actual celebrities such as Tom Brady. As of today, there are 28 AI characters with unique interests and personalities that users can message on WhatsApp, Messenger, as well as Instagram.
These profile pictures look familiar because Meta partnered with well known public figures to embody some of these AIs including Snoop Dogg (Dungeon Master), Naomi Osaka (Tamika), Chris Paul (Perry), Kendall Jenner (Billie), and MrBeast (Zach). Users that are a part of the beta product rollout in the US can interact directly with the AIs from their social profiles by sending them a message on Instagram or Messenger.

It’s still early days for our AIs. Right now, their knowledge base – with the exception of Meta AI, Bru, and Perry – is limited to information that largely existed prior to 2023, which means some responses may be dated. We aim to bring search to many more of our AIs in the coming months – like we have done with Meta AI – so that conversations can be timely and relevant too,” said the company.
