You’ve seen the Dyson 360 Vis Nav, now check out the MIGO Ascender, the world’s first stair climbing robot vacuum. Besides just climbing, the robot can also vacuum and mop them while doing so, complete with smart app control, making multi-level cleaning a breeze.
It climbs stairs using two legs that hoist the body up each step, but there’s no word yet on if Ascender is able to descend them. Features include 6000Pa suction power, the ability to scrub 3500 times per minute, LiDAR + Vision technology for precise multi-floor mapping, obstacle avoidance, intelligent route planning, voice assistant compatibility (Alexa, etc.), and enough range to cover up to 5,167-square-feet. Just one caveat: early bird pricing will still set you back $999 USD, which $500 off its planned MSRP of $1399.
