Mint Green Ferrari F40

Unlike this Ferrari F50 replica, a unique mint green Ferrari F40 was spotted at a Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este supercar parade in Italy this past week. Aside from the new finish, power still comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.9L V8 engine making 477 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, enabling it to hit a top speed of 201 mph.

For the record, all 1,315 F40 production vehicles were finished in Rosso Corsa, also known as Ferrari Red. This fine specimen was repainted for the Schaltkulisse collection to pay tribute to the Ferrari 250 GTO built for the late Sir Stirling Moss that raced at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans. If you’ve ever seen an F40 up-close, then you’re probably familiar with the weave texture, and the reason this phenomenon occurs is because its carbon fiber body panels are not smooth.
