Noob Saibot originally debuted as an unplayable hidden character in Mortal Kombat II, in which he was a black silhouette of the game’s other male ninjas, and his name actually consists of the surnames of Mortal Kombat creators Ed Boon and John Tobias spelled backwards. Mortal Kombat: Deception established him as being the original Sub-Zero, who had been killed by his nemesis, Scorpion, during the events of the first Mortal Kombat and then resurrected as a vengeful revenant. “Following a recent limited online stress test, NetherRealm will soon host the first Mortal Kombat 11 beta beginning March 27. The test will be open to all players who’ve pre-ordered a copy of the game and will feature five playable characters: Baraka, Jade, Kabal, Scarlet, and Scorpion. The beta is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 31 at 11:59 PM PT,” reports GameSpot.
