For $34.95 in 1992, you could turn a normal computer mouse into a flight simulator joystick with ‘The Mouse Yoke’ by Colorado Spectrum. There was no installation, game port, or special card required, just a standard Mac, Amiga, or IBM-compatible computer as well as a mechanical (ball-type) computer mouse.
How do you use it? Simply secure the base onto any deck or table with the turn of a knob, strap the mouse into place, press the yoke grip down, and then slide the entire assembly onto the base. You pull back to move up, push forward to nose down, and bank left / right by simply turning the yoke in the desired direction.
