New Half-Life 2 RTX Gameplay Screenshots
NVIDIA’s Half-Life 2 RTX Remix has been in the works for quite some time, but new gameplay footage, along with a few screenshots, provides fans with an update on the project. Keep in mind that what you’re about to see is a build from December 21st, 2023, so some of the graphical elements may not be completely up to date.

This highly-anticipated remake supports both DLSS 3 Frame Generation and DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. The former enables RTX40 series users to improve the game’s performance, while owners of older RTX GPUs will still be able to utilize the “DLSS 3 to FSR 3.0” mod. Unfortunately, there’s still no word yet on an official release date.

Really worried about how they’re gonna handle NPC’s faces. G-Man will probably be based off the HL Alyx look, so that shouldn’t be an issue (although I like the HL2 face better). Alyx is very easy to get wrong,” said one commenter.
