One Half-Life superfan has just released a playable ‘We Don’t Go to Ravenholm’ demo, which is actually a Half-Life 2: Episode 2 mod that aims to evoke the familiar feel, atmosphere and action of the original. It’s been in development for over a year and you play as Gordon Freeman who has returned to Ravenholm by the G-Man.
Gordon Freeman navigates the ‘Traptown’ area of Ravenholm, where you’ll encounter a host of zombies while avoiding electrified grids, flame contraptions and tangled messes of scrap metal. Unfortunately (or fortunately), you don’t start out with the Gravity Gun, but rather a pistol and submachine gun. Download it here now.
