The new touchscreen iPod Nano was shown by Steve Jobs at the Apple press conference today. Unlike its predecessors, this model’s “controls for playing, pausing and selecting music are right on the screen; it will cost $149 (8GB) and $179 (16GB).” Hands-on video after the break. The screen is crisp and top menu navigation is smooth, but can’t say we have great feel for moving back out of sub menus (via swipe or holding down the screen).
