Set for release this winter, we now know that the Sony NGP will be powered by a “quad-core Cortex-A9 and a quad-core Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU.” This makes it by far the most powerful handheld system to date. Videos after the break. Click here for more pictures.
Then again, considering the darn thing won’t be launching until this holiday season, maybe quad-core parts will be the least Sony will need in order to match up to the “super phones” coming up this year.
