The all-new Nike Unlimited Stadium installation in Manila, Philippines lets runners race against a digital avatar of themselves. Simply place a radio frequency identification sensor on your sneaker, and then run a lap on the track. Once the first lap is completed, a digital avatar appears on large LED screens. This 200-meter installation was built by global advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s (BBH) Singapore and spans an entire city block. It’s modeled after Nike’s new LunarEpic running shoe and lights up in a host of colors while featuring the same circular drawings found shoe’s sole.
