Taki Udon’s Nintendo Switch Lite OLED mod is almost ready, and in this new video, he shows us why it needs to become an official upgrade. No technical details, as in how to install everything, have yet been released, but the mod is confirmed to cost under $50 USD.
A few other details have been confirmed including not needing to solder anything, an HDMI version is set to be released around a month after this one, and the beginner ki comes with the screen attached to the front shell + metal frame & battery. The latter means that the mod would be incredibly easy to do even if you’ve never modded a game console before.
