The LG Rollable is just one of many devices with flexible displays being showcased at CES 20201, and TCL has two of their own. First up, we have an experimental device that can transform from 6.7-inch smartphone to a 7.8-inch tablet using just a simple tap of the finger, and the user interface automatically adjusts to the change change, although the teaser video doesn’t show how it does this. When you’re done using it, the smartphone apparently doubles as a mirror. Read more for the video and additional information.
Next, there’s a scrolling display tablet with a 17-inch OLED that works exactly as it sounds, complete with a 100% color gamut. Eventually, the company homes to use this screen technology on a wide variety of devices, including flexible TVs, curved / foldable displays and transparent commercial display screens. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability for both.
