Nintendo The Legend of Zelda Video Game Remake 3D
Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda is set to celebrate its 36th anniversary on February 21st, but one fan couldn’t wait for a remaster, so he decided to make his own 3D version. Put simply, a gamer known as Cody remade the game with 8-bit-style 3D graphics, including the entire overworld, complete with enemies and items. Let’s just say it took longer than expected since the overworld’s outlines had to be made with Unity and Pro Builder before adding in the individual objects.

This wasn’t just a static remake, as Cody even demonstrated gameplay showcase how some of the new The Legend of Zelda mechanics work. Whether it be collecting sword upgrades around the overworld, attacking enemies, or collecting rupees, it has been remade. Unfortunately, the actual game has not been recreated, just the overworld, along with enemies and items.

People seemed to really like what I did last time when I Made Super Mario Bros but it’s 3D, so I decided to do the exact same thing again, but this time for the Legend of Zelda. This time I went all out because I recreated the entire overworld, including enemies and items,” said its creator.
