One Nintendo fan spent hours creating a custom The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sheikah Slate light switch cover that would not look out of place in a live-action movie based on the game. This creation may look CG rendered at first, but it was actually 3D printed and then hand painted.
In Breath of the Wild, the Sheikah Slate is essentially a multipurpose tablet emblazoned with the Crest of the Sheikah. Link acquires it after being awakened by a disembodied voice in the Shrine of Resurrection and must use it to escape the Shrine of Resurrection. It can be used to access the map of the Hyrule Kingdom and grants access to many of the ancient shrines and Sheikah towers located across the kingdom.

I work in the game industry, and I have a background in graphic design and illustration. I started doing 3D modeling and model painting about 2 years ago. So, no I just kind of wing it. It has a matte clear coat on it so as long as [I’m] gentle is [can] be cleaned,” said PSD Wizzard.
