NVIDIA Big Format Gaming Displays

NVIDIA revealed the world’s first big format gaming displays (BFGDs) at CES 2018 yesterday, created in conjunction with hardware partners Acer, ASUS and HP, BFGDs. These high-end 65-inch, 4K 120Hz HDR displays feature G-Sync technology working together with NVIDIA Shield to deliver a buttery-smooth gaming experience and your favorite media streaming applications – all on a giant screen. At the heart of BFGDs is the latest G-Sync HDR technology that synchronizes the display’s 120Hz refresh rate to that of the game at every moment in time for an immersive gaming experience unmatched by any display of this size. Plus, the 4K HDR display features a full-array direct backlight, 1,000-nit peak luminance and DCI-P3 color gamut for the ultimate in visual quality. That’s not all, the integration of the Android TV-based Shield into BFGDs allows gamers to easily switch between gaming and other forms of entertainment, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, YouTube, etc. Pricing has yet to be announced, but xpect these displays to hit stores this summer.
