By using magnets – officially called ‘Hall Effect’ joysticks – and are the same ones used in the SEGA Dreamcast as well as the SEGA Saturn 3D controllers. Plus, the ZR/ZL buttons, are quieter, lighter, have less resistance, and boast shorter trigger distances to help you shoot faster.
The A / B / X / Y buttons also have white light effects and a comfortable feel for an enhanced experience, while its ergonomic, non-slip design are perfect for long gaming sessions. You also get an adjustable turbo and mapping function. One caveat: the $69 USD controller is sold out currently and there is no word yet on when the next restock will happen.
