Since Omni Mark-1 has several patents pending, not much is known about this awesome propeller-based hoverboard, besides that it has already set a world record. That’s right, Canadian inventor Catalin Alexandru Duru’s invention managed to travel a total distance of 275.9m to achieve a new Guinness World Records title for “Farthest flight by a hoverboard.” He reached a height of 5-meters, covering a distance of over twice that of two full sized football pitches, before gently landing in Quebec’s Lake Ouareau.
