Now that you’ve seen The Flash trailer, there’s no better time to imagine what an open-world game based on the superhero would look like if made in Unreal Engine 5. If this were to follow the film’s storyline, we’d see Barry Allen / The Flash traveling back in time to prevent his mother’s murder, thus trapping him in an alternate reality without metahumans.
For those unfamiliar with The Flash, when not in superhero form, Barry Allen is a police forensic investigator from Central City and member of the Justice League who can move at superhuman speeds using the Speed Force. He’s a multi-dimensional being with human flaws, and as you can see from the movie trailer, Barry can meet infinite versions of himself from different timelines.

In the new concept, we tried to depict the Flash game as an Earth Sized open-world, a game where Flash’s supernatural ability allows him to move around the planet at incredible speeds. Maybe this game will never be made, but at least we can imagine it,” said TeaserPlay.
