A famous ovine clone, named Dolly the Sheep, has passed away, and at the relatively young age of just 6-years. A veterinary examination revealed “that the replicated sheep had progressive lung disease as well as severe arthritis.” Video after the break.

Says Dr Harry Griffin, from the Institute, “Sheep can live to 11 or 12 years of age and lung infections are common in older sheep, particularly those housed inside. “A full post-mortem is being conducted and we will report any significant findings”
