The THeMIS (Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System) is a multi-mission, unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), developed by Estonia-based defence and security services provider Milrem, could be the ultimate war weapon. It’s designed for a range of military missions in dangerous or hard-to-reach areas, as THeMIS can be configured for different roles including reconnaissance, observation, target acquisition, communications relay, logistics support platform, rescue, fire-fighting, and medical evacuation (medevac). There have been several high-profile debuts at Monterey Car Week, but one you may have overlooked is the 2019 SSC Tuatara. Featuring a sleek carbon fiber body, this 2750 lb hypercar is powered by a twin-turbo 5.9-liter V8 engine that, when running E85, produces an eye-watering 1750 hp, mated to a seven-speed computerized manual transmission with a robotic shift system. Anyone Can Become a Professional Dancer, Thanks to New Artificial Intelligence Technology

Researchers from UC Berkley have created a new AI-based system, called “Everybody Dance Now,” that turns just about anyone into a professional dancer. How does it work? Well, first a video of the target is recorded, then a sub-program turns their movements into a wire frame, in which a source video is found and a stick figure made of their movements, and last, but not least, a neural network synthesizes a video of the target individual based on the stick figure movements of the source. Weighing in at 3036-pounds, this convertible is powered by a twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine delivering 711 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque, helping it achieve a 0-62 mph time of just 2.85 seconds, and top out at 211 mph.
