Aerial Refueling F-22

While the F-22 Raptor capable of carrying its air-to-air and air-to-ground weaponry in its internal weapons bays, the aircraft relies on regular fuel tanks for increasing range. These are normally carried during peacetime operations, but in major conflict zones, like Syria, where stealth-tactics are a must, the F-22 flies with no external loads. This is why they are required to be refueled mid-air by tankers several times to be able to fly for 6-7 hours continuously after dropping ordnance. Greenhouse Home

Stockholm, Sweden gets quite chilly in January, -3°C to be exact, so homeowners Marie Granmar and Charles Sacilotto decided that old fashioned heaters just weren’t the way to go. So, they decided to build a house-in-a-greenhouse with the help of architect and friend Bengt Warne. The duo settled on an old summer house located in the Stockholm archipelago, and using Warne’s design, the small summer home, plus an additional 4 millimeter in glass, enveloped the structure. Since the footprint of the greenhouse is nearly double that of the home, there’s enough room for a wrap-around garden, especially since it’s a Mediterranean climate inside the bubble.
