According to Wired, 3 Tesla employees were killed in a plane that crashed into a residential East Palo Alto neighborhood. The aircraft hit a power line, which sheared one of the wings, and then landed on top of a daycare center, eventually sliding into the center of a street. Fortunately, nobody on the ground was injured.

The initial crash crated a loud boom followed by a second boom that shook nearby houses, the Chronicle reports. Firefighters extinguished the fires within 30 minutes. No one on the ground was injured, Chalmers said.
