Harley-Davidson was founded in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and one of two major American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression, along with Indian. The company decided to try something new with LiveWire, their first ever electric motorcycle in 2014, which has a 95 mph top speed. Now, they’ve unveiled their first-ever adventure touring bike, called the Pan America.
It’s powered by a V-twin liquid-cooled Revolution Max 1,250 cc engine generating 140 horsepower and 90 pound-feet of torque, but what really sets this bike apart from the company’s other offerings are its Brembo and Michelin designed braking system / tires. Whether it be a dirt road or a rocky path, the Pan America can handle it all.
